Year One

Emily Saunders Photography is officially One Year Old! 
Reflecting on this first year in business, the only thing I can say is Thank You. 

In 2019, we captured 17 weddings, 14 events, and 40 family sessions, and none of it would have happened were it not for the support from others!

THANK YOU to all my families who stood in front of my camera and allowed me to use their pictures to bring in new families, and THANK YOU for tagging my business page so others could find me!

THANK YOU to those who told their friends, family, coworkers, and strangers about me! 

THANK YOU Small Business Center of Craven Community College for the Seminars and Resources you provide to aspiring business owners like myself, and the community of people who encourage each other there! 

THANK YOU to Keller Williams of New Bern for partnering with me to take head shots of new agents each month. 

THANK YOU to Susan of Olivia's Catering in Kinston, NC for your support and referrals! 

THANK YOU to those individuals who tag my page when those "ISO Photographer" Facebook posts appear, and continue to do so, even when someone has already tagged me! Seriously, these threads are sweet nuggets of encouragement!

THANK YOU to my husband, for his ever-present support, love, and sacrifices he makes for me to be able to pursue this dream. 

I honestly didn't know what to expect January of 2019 when this whole thing started. I would never have guessed that I would have been able to capture so many beautiful moments this year.
I am grateful. 

2020 Goals: 

• Appear on a Google Search: New Bern Photographers.
  • You can help! Just drop in a quick Google Review HERE! :)
• ​Only shoot 1-2 weddings a month (I'm capping it at 14, and 5 are already booked!)
• Get Christmas Card Family Sessions Scheduled in October (December was craaazy)
• Donate my photography services to organizations that I support!
• Make at least 1 blog post a month
