As a former educator, I know firsthand that teaching is much more than a job. It is a commitment that extends far beyond the classroom walls. That's why I'm excited to offer a free portrait session for one deserving teacher every quarter.
How to Apply
Simply complete the application below and tell us about yourself or the educator you are nominating. Please share what makes them exceptional, how they have impacted their community, and why they would benefit from a complimentary portrait session.
Applications are accepted year-round, and one recipient will be selected each quarter. If your nominee isn't selected, their name will remain in the running for the next 3 rounds. Submit your application 5 days before the selection date to be considered.

Who Can Apply?
Teachers from Eastern NC are welcome to apply. You do not need to live or work in New Bern to be eligible, however the portrait session will take place in one of New Bern's beautiful outdoor locations. You may nominate yourself or nominate an educator who has made a meaningful impact on students, families, colleagues, or their community. Each quarterly winner will receive:
